About
Wyken Pre-School is situated in the heart of the community. We operate from a Scout Hall where we offer excellent opportunities for children to thrive and develop into little learners, ready for school. We have a large, open plan indoor room, which is split into areas of learning including a Home area, Construction area and a Book Corner. We also have a large outdoor area where we can offer free flow garden time. The garden is equipped with a soft floor area and a large grass section.
Free Childcare Places Available & Tax Free Childcare
We are pleased to offer 15 hours Free childcare for eligible 2 year olds and All 3/4 year olds. We also offer free 30 hour childcare places for eligible 3/4 year olds. Search: Childcare Choices
You can get £2000 per child each year towards tax free childcare. The Government backed tax free childcare scheme is designed that every 80p you put into your tax free childcare account the state will give you 20p. It essentially gives you a basic rate tax back on your bill.

Holiday Club!
We offer a holiday club for children aged 8 months to 8 years old! This holiday club is open all year round during the holidays except form one week during the Christmas holidays!
During Holiday club the children are able to access all areas of the nursery including the Inside room, the soft surface area outside and the grass area outside!

Rosie and Jim's at Wyken Pre-school is a fantastic nursery for my 2 year old daughter. She has settled so well there and that is all thanks to the wonderful, friendly staff.
